Meet the Seals Guy Team

Scott is the founder of our company and the original Seals Guy.  Trying to keep this guy in balance is like nailing jello to the wall.  He doesn’t know how to slow down.  

Scott currently works in our manufacturing shop, producing our custom gaskets along with his team. However, he’a been known to pop in and visit customers and still perform inspections and installs.

When not working, Scott is enjoying time with family and being Poppy to 7 fun loving kiddos.

Zach brings 15 years of experience in non-profit leadership and the corporate world, working in training, leadership, operations, and project management. He uses that mix of skills to help Seals Guys grow and lead the market, driving strategy, operations, and customer service so every gasket job is fast and dependable.

Outside of work, Zach enjoys exploring nature with his wife and two kiddos, staying active with fitness and dabbling in Jiu Jitsu, reading, writing, making music, and tackling DIY home projects.

Abe Kersting is a full-time firefighter for the City of Wichita and a former football player at Friends University. Married with three kids who are active in local sports, he enjoys being involved in the community through his family.

Abe has also been working with Seals Guy for the past year, bringing his strong work ethic and team-oriented mindset to the role.

Lisa and Scott have been together for 40+ years. Relationships have always been most cherished whether family, friends or customers. Not always out in the forefront, but beside Scott as supporter and cheerleader.

Lisa is now the full time office “staff”. Organizing and always trying to keep in balance, the business and family.

When not doing office work, you will find Lisa in her favorite role: Wife, Mom and Mimi to 7 fantastic kiddos.

In 2007, as a college kid, Tyler helped his parents launch what is today Seals Guy. Always having a passion to meet tangible needs, while putting relationships and customers first, it was always a dream to take over the family business.

Now, 18 years later, the dream has been realized. With a passion and a vision to serve customers across multiple states, the drive is to  create meaningful work for the ever expanding Seals Guy team while continuing the local, family feel of Seals Guy. Between the nonprofit and corporate world, Tyler has successfully scaled and reproduced organizations through strategy, systems and processes to grow exponentially.

When not dreaming about the next significant move for Seals Guy, Tyler spends time with his wife, 4 kids, 2 dogs, 2 rabbits and a tortoise. (Yes, it's like a modern day Noah's Ark) Kansas CIty born and raised, he's usually found cheering on his Chiefs, Royals and Jayhawks.

Shay Hoffman is a Gasket Specialist based in Oklahoma City, providing expertise in refrigeration seal replacement and repair. With a focus on precision and quality, he helps businesses extend the life of their equipment and ensure peak performance. Dedicated to reliable service and customer satisfaction, Shay brings hands-on experience and industry knowledge to every project.

Juan Camacho recently joined Seals Guy as a Technician, bringing over 26 years of experience in the restaurant industry, including 16 years as a Kitchen Manager. With a strong background in kitchen operations, equipment maintenance, and team leadership, Juan offers practical, hands-on expertise that directly supports the needs of Seals Guy’s clients. As a bilingual professional, he is able to communicate effectively with a diverse range of customers and team members, further enhancing service and support.

Outside of work, Juan is a proud father of two and has been married for 18 years. He values family, hard work, and making a positive impact wherever he goes.

Morgan has been married to his wife for 14 years with 3 kids, ages 10, 8, and 6. He loves serving restaurants with 8+ years of previous experience.
